are a potential hazard as
they harbour germ(bacteria).

water and /or ice used for
'water balls' (golgappa
pani) may not be potable
and thus unsafe for consumption.

Even if
the water/ice used in potable,
the same may get contaminated
if
- the
vendor does not wash his hands
properly and regularly.
- after
using the dirty wiping cloth,
he directly touches the water
balls (golgappas) or
other food items.
- dips
his hands in water (pani)
for filling the golpappas
(water balls).

Therefore, insist on the vendor
to
- use
filtered potable water and
ice made from potable water.

wash his hands properly before
preparing/ serving food item
for you.
- preferably
wear cap and apron so as to
prevent hair, dirt and germs
from contaminating the food
being prepared/served for
you.

clean disposable gloves
on both hands while preparing
/serving.

clean wiping cloth or disposable
